Weight Loss Journey
Creating the Life I Want!
It's me Tiare...many of you know me as Classygirl.  Here I'd like to share a bit of my personal
journey with you!   Like so many of you for the past 20 years I have struggled with my weight!  
You know how it is gaining weight, losing weight..yo-yoing...up, down! Hurting knees, huffing
and puffing!  Late night snacking, indigestion, heartburn, too full, not full enough.  It's just a
maddening cycle!

Yes, it was... until January 2007!  
That's when I decided to stop this crazy cycle and learn to eat well and exercise more!  I
decided to put ME first!  So I set out on this journey...with plenty of baggage in tow...if you
know what I mean.   I was not sure what the journey would hold, but I knew it would be
WONDERFUL!  I just felt it in bones...it was my time!

Oh my!!! Who knew this journey would take me to so many FABULOUS places!  I just can't
seem to get enough!  I've become such a sponge for knowledge about health, good food
finds and just enjoying my knew freedom.  Freedom of movement, freedom to EAT, freedom
to enjoy life!

My journey started with Weight Watchers and then somewhere along the way, I decided I also
needed to nourish my body with even healthier foods and I gave up processed flour, white
sugar, partially hydrogenated oils, artificial sweeteners and high fructose corn syrup...you
know basically all the stuff that keeps the pounds piling on and coming back!  I also stay
away from artificial flavors and colors, as much as possible!  Whew!

I'm down 75lbs now and counting and LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!   Yes, I did say,
LOVING!  Once you give up all those preconceived notions and allow yourself to open up to
all the possibilities there is a life RICH with FOOD, FUN and FITNESS out there just waiting
for you to join in!

I'm LOVING this new, healthy, happy lifestyle and I'd love to share it with you as I continue my
journey!
